Adams Gas 20L Propylene

High energy fuel gas. A substitute for acetylene in heating and cutting applications.

• Clean burning flame. 2900? for a neutral flame in oxygen. (Compare to 2526? for propane, and 3087? for acetylene.)
• 20 times more stable than acetylene.
• Suitable for hand cutting, machine cutting, flame hardening, metalizing, brazing, soldering, welding, pre-heating and stress relieving.
• Oxy-propylene heats quicker and cuts faster than oxy-acetylene.
• There is no draw-off limit as for acetylene cylinders, and the secondary flame carries higher heat levels.
• Costs less and lasts longer than acetylene.
• Typically there's a 50% reduction on cost. Outlasts the equivalent sized acetylene cylinder by about 2.5 times.
• All cylinders have the same left-hand threaded standard fitting as BOC, Air Products & Air Liquide & Calor.

Acetylene gauges, torches and welding tips usually work well with Propylene. For optimum performance, speak to your equipment provider for information about suitability of tips, hoses, and regulators for use with Propylene
