Express Gases is one of the largest independent retailers and distributors of leisure and industrial gases in Dorset.
At Express Gases we understand that gas can be the lifeblood of industrial companies’ day to day processes and a continuous necessity for people's homes. Our customers value our fast delivery, friendly customer service and easy to use collection options, always adapting to their needs to ensure they receive the best service.
We supply a variety of cylinder gases for a number of use cases; from rent free options for the light industrial and hobbyist welder to high volume propane supply for leisure parks and homes and almost everything in between.
In 2022, Express Gases gained Calor Gas Partner status, making us one of the largest suppliers of Calor Propane, Butane and Patio Gas in Dorset and the surrounding areas. We support all Calor cylinder stockists and customers with their supply from our facility at Bournemouth Airport.
Our fast and friendly delivery service is available Monday to Friday, delivery is guaranteed within three working days* and free for Calor or orders over £100 to BH postcodes. Collection is also free and available during both working hours and 24/7 from the collection cages at our Bournemouth Airport facility.

Express Gases has been part of Steve’s family business since 2015. He separated Express Gases as an independent company in 2024 and continues to run the day to day operations both at the main depot and out on the road. His valuable background as a HGV driver ensures a smooth delivery service for varying customer needs.

Joining the company from a business background in 2024, Sophie oversees the development of Express Gases as it strives to continue growing and modernising for the benefit of both its customers and partners.

With a background in everything mechanical and a knack for exceptional customer service, Matt is an asset to the team on both the operational and transport sides of Express Gases. You will find him at the end of the phone, in the depot and occasionally on the road turning his hand to every task with ease and delighting customers along the way.

You’ll find this team member greeting customers on arrival at our depot, ready to make the customer experience more pleasurable. While Riley’s knowledge of gas cylinders is still developing, his knowledge of where every discarded tennis ball on site is located is second to none. Be warned, if you throw one for him you may be stuck at Express Gases forever.

Usually found paw-trolling the fence line, Cooper maintains strict order over all vehicles entering and exiting his depot, ensuring all delivery drivers stick to the speed limit and share their sandwiches. Best known for being allergic to most foods, he brings a new meaning to the words gas depot, but his friendly face and enthusiastic greetings delight every customer that comes through the door.
